Jake Orr

Grand Rapids native Jake Orr focuses on documenting music and artists both on and off the stage.“There is always more to the story than just listening and watching artists perform on stage. I want to show the reason why artists do what they do.” His passion for music started and grew while attending concerts as a child. “The music industry is ever changing and growing. Each artist, concert and photo session is unique and it is exciting to be able to translate that energy into my shots.”

Known locally as “The Orrkid”, Jake has shot for many nationally known artists such as For King & Country, Judah and The Lion, KB, Steven Malcolm and many more.

In 2020 and 2022, Jake was voted “Best Photographer in West Michigan” by Revue Magazine
